I've worked with the tool for years, and it's been my livelihood for a long time. I've set Acumatica up for many clients and seeing how satisfied they were makes it easy to recommend.
We use Acuamtica for Construction, AP, AR, project job costing. Acumatica has given use the tools and power to up our job costing game and fine tune our budgeting and estimating process.
Pros
Generic Inquiries are very user friendly and easy to keep track of information
Streamlining project creation and budgeting
Providing real time job costing
Cons
Some of the "automated" helps (ie, auto filling start dates at activation) are not helpful and create more work for us
Not allowing common tasks to be added to an existing project template is frustrating and creates more work
When approving invoices - it would be nice to have the project information, and preview of the invoice all in one screen instead of opening each individually

It's well suited for project job costing/revenue and AR. It lacks in some project management features such as scheduling and needs more flexibility in forecasting. I would also love to see more control over revenue recognition - where you could select which line items to recognize in a task group instead of Acumatica splitting it automatically.
We are a solid waste and recycling utility with several locations. Acumatica allows us to track all financials in one place while also having separate reporting options. I use Acumatica daily all day, for financials, tracking payroll related liabilities and expenses. The Fixed Assets module has been beneficial, having 300 plus vehicles and equipment to track.
Pros
Accounts Payable Process
Fixed Assets
Project Tracking
Cons
Glitches is the check issue process
More standard financials reports that do not have to be built by customer

Small to large scale businesses will benefit from the use of Acumatica.
Acumatica is our ERP. We just changed from Microsoft Dynamics. We use Acumatica to organize our project financials and details, track change orders, manage inventory, track billable and non-billable time, submit personal expenses, do AR and AP. All of our financial information is stored in Acumatica. Our company provides design, engineering, materials, and construction, Acumatica is engrained into all parts of our business.
Pros
Approvals are quick
Web interface on the phone is handy
Cloud storage adds security
Cons
Reporting is poor and limited
Inventory management is weak
Integration was very slow and painful

We have only be live on Acumatica for about 3 months now so my feedback is based in limited usage thus far. That being said, Acumatica seems to be quite accessible. The web interface is useful and not having to worry about hosting our ERP on our own server is great. Acumatica seems to be quite weak and limited when it comes to reports and data analytics, some of the GIs are quite slow as well. Inventory management is not well streamlined, it takes too many clicks to do things.

It is our financial ERP package. We utilize a fairly complex system of routing of invoices for approvals and Acumatica handles that. We also use the fixed asset module. We do not utilize the P.O. module s it is not robust enough to manage our needs.
Pros
Routing of invoice approvals
payments
Accounts receivable
Cons
reporting
purchasing module

It has worked well for us in an environment where we issue less than 100 invoices per month. Not sure if it is well suited for high volume in this area.
