Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
Acumatica is our ERP. We just changed from Microsoft Dynamics. We use Acumatica to organize our project financials and details, track change orders, manage inventory, track billable and non-billable time, submit personal expenses, do AR and AP. All of our financial information is stored in Acumatica. Our company provides design, engineering, materials, and construction, Acumatica is engrained into all parts of our business.
Pros
- Approvals are quick
- Web interface on the phone is handy
- Cloud storage adds security
Cons
- Reporting is poor and limited
- Inventory management is weak
- Integration was very slow and painful
- It has been a painful transition from our old ERP
- ERP transition has been very costly
- Limited reporting requires us to build it elsewhere

It is too early for me to be able to comment on this. At this point, we have been able to create invoices and pay bills, which is important.
We need to invoice, pay bills, know where our accounts and projects are at, run monthly financials. So far we have been able to do these things successfully.
Acumatica is cloud based which is a plus. Implementation was difficult in both. We switched because Dynamics SL was becoming unsupported and we were always running into a lack of licenses.
