Please provide some detailed examples of areas where ActivTrak has room for improvement.

From 32 reviews | Last Published May 27, 2026

Feedback on ActivTrak indicates several areas where the platform could be enhanced to better meet user needs. A primary concern, cited by 34% of reviewers, revolves around reporting and data visualization, with users seeking greater customization options for dashboards and reports, improved data accuracy, and easier navigation of large datasets. Concurrently, 22% of reviewers highlighted challenges with the user interface and overall navigation, finding it overwhelming and difficult to locate specific features. Another significant area for improvement, also mentioned by 22% of reviewers, pertains to feature requests and functionality gaps, including desires for keystroke logging, website blocking, and more intelligent user management. Additionally, 13% of the feedback pointed to limitations in integration with external scheduling tools like Outlook calendars, leading to inaccuracies in productivity tracking. Finally, 9% of reviewers suggested enhancements to onboarding and tutorials, indicating a need for clearer guidance and a smoother learning curve for new users.

Onboarding and Tutorials

The tutorials could be better, I do wish they provided an easy to follow example of an employees performance and answered the questions most managers have when using the tools

Integration and Scheduling

True integration with outlook calendars would be helpful so when productivity is low it's easy to see if the employee was in meetings, or on PTO. We have found if an employee puts pto on their calendar (or any other commitment) as an all day event it does not show up on the ActivTrak reports

Feature Requests and Functionality Gaps

Keystroke logging is not available.
