We use Absorb LMS to support our employees continuous development, which is one of our core values. We also use it to track compliance. I also take advantage of their Absorb Content as it gives us thousands of pre-built courses we can convert. Additionally, we use Create to design and deliver our own custom courses and I like how they are always improving it.
Pros
Create is a great tool!
They have a lot of report options
I like having the different Admin roles.
Cons
Reporting - I am currently not easily able to pull a report for incomplete required courses by category.
Engage - Getting the images and videos to display correctly is not easy. We gave up on using it.
Having to impersonate the learner to add an External Training.

Absorb LMS has been great and has allowed us to take out learners experience to the next level.
One of the issues we had in the past was the ease of access to the courses. When we transitioned over to Absorb, this completely elevated that problem. Employees can easily navigate to the course they wish to take and enroll. Having the process be so easy has encouraged users to use the platform more.
Pros
Communication
System Updates
Customer Service
Cons
Course creation can be somewhat difficult
Assigning recurring courses can be cumbersome process

I love the hands-on support we receive from Absorb. Melissa has made such a difference. She communicates well and is always available to provide support and advice when needed.
We build a curriculum with video assignments (Create), ILCs for live sessions, and quizzes (Create). Our course is entirely online so having a portal where the students can complete all their assignments and see their progress in one place is very helpful.
Pros
Training resources
Intuitive platform
Updates based on user feedback
Cons
mass updates to ILCs
sometimes video assignments are glitchy
sometimes my admin access still doesn't let me do all the things
Likelihood to Recommend
It's a great resource to develop any online based training. It's intuitive for the user, shows all the assignments in one place, you can lock future assignments so everything gets completed in order, there are tons of ways to customize and automate email reminders and communications.

After a few challenges, we now have the most amazing Senior Account Manager ([...]) and Customer Success Manager ([...]), with their help and patience, we are maximizing the LMS platform and looking to the future for additional services and growth opportunities. Our company is expanding and I feel confident with their guidance and support the Absorb LMS will grow with the needs.
We use Absorb LMS to deliver compliance and skills training. The system supports eLearning as well as instructor led courses. We chose Absorb LMS because it provides access for our field based employees, and has an easy to navigate user interface. Administration is straightforward, and while a little click heavy, fairly intuitive and very easy to learn. We have 3,500 users who are a combination of field and office based employees in the US and Canada.
Pros
User Experience
Administration
Customization
Customer Support
Frequent system enhancements
Cons
Click heavy administration
Basic reporting functionality
Support for externally hosted videos

Our integration experience was very well managed. We launched on-time, and only had to do basic end-user training because the system is very user friendly and intuitive to use. The customer support is exceptional, we have an assigned Customer Success Manager we meet with and talk to regularly. They are very responsive and have helped us optimize our processes to get the most out of the system. Because the system is easy to use, we have very few user issues or tickets we have to support. 90% of user problems are resolved by using the FAQs we provided when we launched the system.
We use Absorb LMS in our organization for all external and online internal trainings we have. This includes mandatory federal compliance training, safety trainings for construction, and quick how to videos. We also have everyone complete onboarding trainings through our Absorb LMS. Absorb LMS addresses the problem of where to house all of the online trainings we offer. Absorb LMS also makes it easy to inegrate with third party vendors, so we can get the best trainings from various resources. We do not use Absorb LMS for any in-person trainings that we hold.
Pros
Third party integration
Absorb LMS support is timely and helpful
Easy to create new courses
Cons
More features for reporting and tracking
Better way to organize course folders
Create ways to automate things, like featured courses
Likelihood to Recommend
Absorb LMS is a great place to house online trainings that are both required or voluntary. Absorb LMS allows us to add third party courses, as well as, courses we build in-house and share them in one spot for our users to access. Absorb LMS also helps track course completions whether we need to know whose taken a course for compliance reasons or we are needing to do a training report for the company as a whole. Absorb LMS hasn't been useful for tracking or adding information for in-person trainings.

Absorb is our primary learning management system and is used to track the majority of our training (e-learning and ILC). All employees utilize the LMS for onboarding and continuing education across our national footprint in the United States. We rely heavily on the LMS to accurately track employee training records and training data.
Pros
User friendly interface.
Generally easy navigation in admin experience.
Course creation is fairly simple.
Cons
The data reporting options and features in Absorb are terrible. Sometimes, multiple reports have to be pulled to get simple L&D metrics. If you want to see most of your data, you have to upgrade to Analyze, which is insanely cost-prohibitive for small to mid-sized companies. Reporting in an LMS should not be an add-on. Admins should be able to access all data at all times and customize reports as needed.
Functionality for adding external links to ILC sessions is poor and limited.
As a company, Absorb needs to improve its "a la carte" business model or offer better-tiered pricing. The LMS is good, but the competition is intense, and I'm tired of being upsold every time I have a question about functionality.

See previous comments. Absorb as a system is OK overall, but it is quickly becoming cost-prohibitive and limited in available features. Every item is an add-on now.

We use Absorb LMS in multiple ways. Customer product training and certification both online and ILC courses. Internal Member upskill training, personal development, compliance, D E & I, etc. online, cohort & ILC courses. We also use the Reviewer Experience internally. We use the reporting capabilities for learner development and for compliance reasons.
Pros
ILC registration & management
Reporting customization & capabilities
Certification/Competencies
Online course creation and uploading
Cons
Easier way for learners to find the courses they are looking for.
Navigational tips/videos on the learner side. AI Assist is coming and that should help.
When rolling out new products, it would be helpful to have use case videos setup when doing a trial run.
Likelihood to Recommend
Absorb LMS is well suited as a vehicle for ILC registration, management and reporting results. It is also well suited for certification and competencies on compliance training both internally and for customer product certification. We love it for sales training. Using the system as a source of truth for all training reporting is also helpful

We use it to administer training to our employees. It would be useful if it could transfer certificates to other programs we use so that we don't have to do it manually.

Cons
linking with other programs
could use more detail in training videos
