NewgenONE Digital Transformation Platform vs. SAP Build

The Newgen OmniDocs is the best option when it comes to storing, sharing, disseminate documents. It is also widely used by the Technical team in my previous employers for storing their technical codes & queries and they have always cast their trust vote to Newgen OmniDocs. I have always recommended Newgen OmniDocs to my auditing, finance, technology and banking sector clients for whom data confidentiality matters more than any other industry. It is less appropriate in the businesses that do not require storing the documents as they destroy the documents once sent to the client to ensure they do not save client information or project. Furthermore, it is less appropriate in almost 50% of India as well as many other parts in MENA region where there is no presence of high-speed internet as it takes high bandwidth of internet to operate.

SAP Build is a strong and reliable partner with a rich FAQ and consulting power. New features make sense and are easy to distribute within the team and to end users. The community is nice, and there are many discussions on product development, shared solutions, and productivity improvements. UI is also one of the strongest points.

• Makes it much easier to share docs. and collaborate with multiple teams at a time
• Reduce operational cost as well as time to market
• Much easier to store, and retrieve file
• Easy to access it anytime on the mobile
• Supports the documents of all formats
• Easy to learn. No training required

• Its drag and drop editor is even simpler than the very popular WordPress
• No code feature to build any type of website
• Not a lot of technical expertise is required to use this tool
• The client loves it as they can themselves use it for quick tweaks

• Doesn't operate well in India as the nation has lowest internet speed and it requires higher speed to operate
• Very long queues and slow response when calling technical helpdesk
• Takes time to upload documents

• Comparing to other RPA Tools, SAP Build automation lacks enough user guidance.
• Licensing is a little bit confusing.
• From a technical perspective, older versions of the automation part are not always stable, but the other services (workflow, business rules, apps, etc.) are much more stable.

The SAP Build Apps is definitely getting better, however it is still not as easy to use and complete as some other solutions. This makes it a bit harder to use for Functional Consultants for example. SAP Build Process automation on the other hand is so easy, that everybody can build processes in it.

There are, for example, great blog writings about automation cases and examples. The studio version is updated often. There are also useful OpenSAP online courses.

Newgen OmniDocs is the only one I have used

Bubble.io is more user-friendly in comparison with SAP AppGyver. The latter being practically a free tool provides enough functionality to achieve results though while Bubble.io doesn't let you export your projects without a paid subscription. Bubble.io has great initial tour and tutorial integrated into the platform that can be handy for any new beginner while SAP AppGyver can be a little overwhelming.

• Faster search with easy to access files which helps me in sending the document quickly to the clients and retrieving it in no time whenever they ask for it. Sending the documents quickly always ensures higher client satisfaction which has great impact on ROI
• Facilitates easy collaboration with client teams and ensures the research project is done exactly as per the client's requirements & needs. This also always makes clients happy and attract repeat projects and more revenues
• Makes it easier for the tech. team to store / save technical queries & codes. Thus, whenever I approach them to make changes in my reports/ articles while uploading it on the website, tech. team does that at much faster pace. This leads in increased efficiency of Content writers as well as the tech. team
