Mailigen vs. Momentus Event Management Platform

MailiGen is suited for any sized organization from single owner businesses or clubs upwards. The pricing works well for entry level customers

I believe the strength of the system is the integration of contracts and the AR process. Companies not using a lot of contracts might not need a system this powerful.

• They dig our thing and establish human relations which makes easyer to work with them than with any other email marketing platform
• They really helped us to develop our email marketing strategy
• They deliver the emails

• Ease of use. Once configured and work flow processes are determined, users are up and running in one (1) orientation & training session. Online Knowledge Base and Video tutorials are helpful resources.
• Customization. The flexibility to customize screens, layouts, fields, etc. is a HUGE benefit. Add or hide fields based on your company needs are available at functional user level.
• Trace & Notification features. Built-in reminders or "to do" lists keep staff on track. Never miss a deadline! Email w/ full HTML, import and export features are fantastic.

• One thing we would like is the ability to send test mails to any mail address during campaign development. Currently the system sends only to the designated mail addresses. So sending a sample to a customer to a marketing person is harder than necessary.

• Contracts tie to AR but not to AP in direct fashion. Some duplicate entry for payables related to contracts is required.
• Still in midst of fully upgrading to web based version 20 program. Certain areas still need to use version 19.

We are satisfied with this cooperation and we don't see why we should change email marketing service provider at this point. Excellent service and rapid new feature development keeps us very satisfied.

Although it is easy to use for basic users and people with no experience in e-mail marketing, but for more advanced users it still lacks functionality - really advanced filtering - on it's web interface. However everything is possible once you use API.

Although time to time I send a support ticket, but more frequently I use the live support option on their website. I get instant feedback and feel that my problem is addressed immediately.

Software upgrade to latest version and to hosted environment took longer than expected

With most systems it is faily easy. It offers CSV import so transferring contacts should be easy.

Mailigen falls short to Listrak due to Listrak's far superior contact, conversion, and message analytics. Some features are unavailable or not easily integrated with the Mailigen platform compared to its competition, but features such as model acquisition & shopping cart abandonment are available. The ability to integrate such features into your website may be easier when using a competitors platform, but easy usability comes with a price. Extra perks such Coupon managers & etc. are useful features that allow you to generate Barcodes & QR codes, as well as track various data analytics when implementing this feature. Small items as such are what Mailigen lacks in comparison to its competitors, but their price point kicks the rest out of the water if you can live without some of the bells and whistles.

This past spring, I had the opportunity to view 25Live (web version of R25). Within 10 minutes, it was determined, 25Live was not suitable for the Event Management Operation. Most suited for the Office of the Registrar's need to book academic classrooms space for class course sections. College Net (25Live) sneak preview. - 25Live offers an Event Management Module, however, with very basic functionality. Does not compete with Ungerboeck Software functionality. - A single event in 25Live with multiple space books, are made up of multiple sub events; unable to view all space bookings on single screen. - Report options are not comparable. - Limited customization; unable to edit screen layouts or fields. - to name a few...
