MailerLite vs. Pinpointe On-Demand

I didn't have much luck when testing other similar tools and since we tested with free plan, we couldn't commit to something else if we couldn't get basic stuff fixed. That's when we switched to MailerLite, and their support was great and super helpful all the way (during our free plan, especially). Plus, they're super budget-friendly for startups, so I highly recommend.

Pinpointe is perfect for managing large numbers of contacts, including gathering new contacts and storing them throughout your databases, which can further be broken into lists and then individual tags for sorting and sending. Where it really excels is in the email marketing sector. We are able to send as many as several hundred thousand emails per hour, making sure all of our customers get time sensitive marketing material quickly.

• Offers a user-friendly interface, making it simple to create beautiful forms, group subscribers, and automate emails.
• Includes email automation workflows in their free plan - the only provider I know of that doesn't charge you after one month or hit you with "transaction fees".
• Excellent video tutorial library so you can learn email marketing as a beginner without feeling overwhelmed.

• The detailed statistics page is really helpful.
• Excellent and flexible Builder.
• Customer Service responds within one hour.
• Stock photos included.
• Database separation & sub-accounts.
• Excellent multi-inbox previewer available.
• Responsive templates.
• Invaluable webinars and training.

• EVERYONE should be allowed to at least use the AI bot chat feature. This doesn't take a person and is such basic customer service that it should be offered at all levels.
• It would be nice if MailerLite worked better with AddEvent icons
• When emailing support it took days to get a response (after an agent escalated the issue). Some concerns are more urgent and email support shouldn't mean bad support.

• Depending on the amount, when I am in the middle of uploading a list of contacts I get bumped out and have to submit a request to increase my dataset. That being said, our company as a whole is happy with what Pinpointe provides us with as is.

Mailerlite is awesome and it does everything I need and then some. They're always innovating and adding new features, and their team is flippin' amazing. Can't see myself ever switching. They may not have everything, but looking at how well their team works, they'll get there for sure and I'm willing to wait.

Timely responses, quality answers to my questions, showing that the support are knowledgeable and cares about my results. They are quick to respond to requests, usually within an hour. If they don't have an immediate fix to a problem, they let me know what the status is and what they are doing about a request. In some cases, if the development team needs to be involved because a bug is found, they have fixed and patched the system same day. Rarely do I ever get that kind of customer support response with any other company. They don't have a premium support tier because they treat every request with the same level of professionalism and response time (again, to at least let you know it was received and an actual person is looking at it, even if they are busy with other requests).

MailerLite has similar features to the tools mentioned above. The main advantage is that it is very complete in its free version. This is ideal for those who are starting out and want to try a complete email marketing platform.

Pinpointe is a great #2 for specialty campaigns. Our bounce rates were higher than with other providers. Pinpointe's detailed reports and interface are a step above the competition.
