LuxSci vs. Paubox Email Suite

Apparently secure website hosting and email. Perhaps could have some better background on common website features.

It is well-suited where you have access to manage your business's own domain settings. It is well-suited to medical professionals requiring send/receive email encryption of PHI/PII in compliance with HIPAA. It is less well-suited to solo users than group users, due to Paubox's requirement to buy licenses in sets of 3 (requiring you to pay $120x3=$360 yearly for 3 licenses, even if you only need 1 license).

• Unable to provide email script for their servers.
• Email filtering sometimes false negatives.
• Sometimes difficulty with tech support.
• Development requests pending for 2 years now.

• Only drawback was the actual setup in Outlook was a little tricky. I called support and they made it easy.

Paubox is much easier to use than other software we have tried. Once it's installed, we almost forget about it.

• Cost-effective. I manage (poorly) multiple websites myself & with the help of Luxsci tech support.
• Generally, things work.
• I wish they had more info on what I think are common issues with websites or email.

• Paubox provided a plug-n-play solution, requiring no extra development, so the switchover cost was very low.
• By integrating with our existing support system, Paubox added no overhead to our customer support.
• The user experience is great for the vast majority of our customers (those whose email provider supports TTL encryption), so customer satisfaction remains high.
