TeamViewer is overall a better application as compared to AnyDesk and GoTo Resolve since it is slightly better than the two in terms of connectivity, authentication and rapid support services.
Apart from the above mentioned points, the features are very similar to AnyDesk, …
We did a brief trial of Go To Assist and divided upon Team Viewer as we felt that it had a slightly richer feature set. We also preferred the UI/UX of Team Viewer in comparison to Go To Assist. In terms of pricing, this was pretty much similar to both products.
Compared to applications such as GoToAssist, TeamViewer is leaps and bounds ahead due to the well developed mobile and desktop support applications. The tiered pricing structure also adds more flexibility than other remote support applications.
Basically, Chrome Remote doesn't have the flexibility of TeamViewer, and GoToAssist is just too expensive. Only TeamViewer offers what I need at a decent price point. There is a reason why it is a leader in this vertical. I highly recommend them and suggest you don't waste …
TeamViewer is simple but it also doesn't come with all the security that paid for services have to offer. We tend to use it for smaller projects and for our personal use.
I have enjoyed ScreenConnect for its easy to use interface and the ability to copy/transfer files. I …
I’ve used GoToAssist and in my experience GoToAssist is better for the end-user experience. Skype for Business is better for meetings but that is kind of out of scope for TeamViewer. VNC is best for inside the organization.
TeamViewer is way more user friendly and also faster. Any desk is not bad, don't get me wrong, but TV is way faster and runs smoothly. There no issues and you can do more with it than other companies. Based on my experience (more than 4 remote control softwares for more than 3 …
TeamViewer was more robust, professional and polished than the competition we checked out. We use TeamViewer for our remote meetings and to record quick toturials. We have been very pleased with its performance. Remote access is great and simple with Teamviewer. GoToConnect …
Prior to buying TeamViewer we extensively reviewed a number of different platforms:
AnyDesk - this is a simpler remote access platform, but I found it to be too temperamental with the connection and more often than not I would have to go to the PC instead.
I did not select TeamViewer over its competition. Its licensing options priced it out of competition for my needs. It also lacked features available from other products such as dual monitor, seamless remote printing, and HD video.
Most of TeamViewer's competitors (GoToMeeting, GoToAssist, WebEx, MyTrueCloud) are priced on a per-month basis. Some companies (like WebEx) also do not allow licenses to "float", they require that the license is tied to a specific user. This simply did not fit our use case. …
I don't think I have ever encountered a scenario where LogMeIn is inappropriate. I work directly with customers 80% of the time, and even when I need to help a fellow IT professional out, LogMeIn is my go-to option. Viewing and reviewing all the units I manage is very helpful; it saves me a lot of time, especially after the frequent long-term power outages (where it surpasses the USP's protection) we often experience in our area.
If someone were to ask me for a recommendation, I would honestly say that it was the best option for me. Many times, my team members, other therapy department consultants, or doctors have encountered a problem with their systems that they are unable to resolve on their own. They just reached out to me and explained their concerns. Once their system is connected to me, I can resolve their situation in a very short amount of time.
The update Cycle of the Desktop app is sometimes unstable. We downloaded the latest TeamViewer Desktop App from the official site, and it immediately asks us to update.
Pricing tier for small teams can be improved.
Live subtitles for audio from remote device can be implemented.
I would say yes, we would definitely renew, everyone likes it in the IT dept, and there are more features we have yet to put to use. I am expanding the Windows update / Endpoint features as I get time, and the remote PowerShell console is unbeatable for me at present when facing remote computers that are not letting create a new remote PSSession.
We need this tool in our day to day business. It is what we do all day remoting into clients devices. In this day and age we can access devices all over the world as long as we have secure internet connection. It certainly saves money in gas, and even if you are away you can help.
Navigation is easy and friendly. It does almost everything, but being cloud, it gets slow. Session recording is allowed. Zoom in and out feature works very well, especially during remote sessions and multiple machine sessions simultaneously. Dual-screen monitors are accessible. East and convenient user interface. The diagnostics feature is outstanding, and it gives detailed diagnostics of the system. So these are the pros that prompt me to provide such ratings.
TeamViewer is a reliable and really strong tool for accessing remote IT platforms secure and fast. We don't know any product that provide us such strong functionality to make our life as a internationally recognized MES provider with DIAMES with an international clientele so easy. We look forward for any new TeamViewer functionality that supports us even more.
Usually available without a problem, although sometimes calls get dropped or users sit in empty meeting rooms while waiting for an admin to arrive, while the call is actually going on.
If you are connected to someone with proper bandwidth, there are no issues at all. With all things, if you connect to someone with dial-up (yes, it still exists), the performance is terrible.
Ive used their tech support a handful of times, and each time they have been able to help me sort out any hiccups or kinks that arise. They have a resourceful knowledge base, and have experts available for training and troubleshooting. I often recommend them to my other coworkers and colleagues because of the ease of use and security
the few times i have had to contact teamviewer support, they were very responsive and give me quick answers and seemed to understand my problems quickly and easily. I did not have to sit on the phone for hours on hold or get passed around to multiple phone support techs before finding a solution to my issues, so i would rate their support very highly.
As expected without any problem! Alternate in-person training is another efficient way to learn how a product works. There are many third party supporters for TeamViewer courses available that can give additional ideas how to use TeamViewer for specific functions and features as we did require in respect of our usage.
I have never used the online training either. I have watched a few informational videos that were helpful when learning how to do a specific procedure within TeamViewer and get the most out of the software by utilizing one of the many features that are available with the software. Again, 5 if for neutral.
GoToAssist SeeIt was very easy to implement. As long as your techs have a basic understanding of most remote support tools they will be able to understand this product easily.
We used TeamViewer within our scope of a unified endpoint management. Access rights are managed by location and user, both in regard to the state legislation and the company’s regulations. Our IT dashboard has now integrated the remote support KPIs which i derived from TeamViewer usage data.
I previously used Dameware but since they came out with the new version, I find it difficult to use. Many times, it takes a long time to connect using Dameware and the added time if it connects at all adds to the user's frustration as well as my own
AnyDesk, despite being relatively light on system utilization, didn’t offer some of the pro collaboration features that we required. All the functionalities that were part of TeamViewer matched well with the functionality, ease, and cost aspects needed to support our team's work.
We are able to solve 99% of technical issues remotely.
Our productivity rate has increased because we are able to conveniently seek out assistance in the matter of a few minutes.
As this is compatible with Microsoft products like teams, this has allowed us to collaborate and save time and money by using existing software to submit tickets for assistance.
Almost immediately. We could not support our clients effectively without TeamViewer. Its reliable, fast and allows us to do our work in a moments notice.
The core of our business is providing remote IT support to unmanned stations. Without a program like TeamViewer, we would be unable to operate.
On numerous occasions, we have avoided having to travel to site on top as well as raise a callout with local agents, saving us many thousands.
We can work from home or support our service technicians on the field any place, any time.
