Greenshades vs. Workday Workforce Management

We used to have ADP for payroll, the gold standard. I guess to save a few bucks my company switched to Greenshades. From time to time my payroll stub does not show up on time. I asked my HR department about this and was told they are not fond of Greenshades. I call Greenshades to ask about the delay. They do not have any support contact information on the employee website I use to get my payroll information. I had to google them and found a support contact on their website. Not good. When I spoke to someone to ask about the pay stub delays, he hung up on me.

Workday is well suited as am employee because it allows me to easily access pay and goal-setting information at a large org. It also made the process of getting hired and initially onboarded simple. I imagine it could be less helpful at a smaller organization where people have more direct access to folks in payroll

The way that the menus are laid out into Home, Personal, Organization, and more makes it fairly simple to find what you are looking for even if you do not know exactly where to find what you are looking for. The "Timely Suggestions" and other recommended tasks also elevate important tasks to your attention

In my previous place of employment, we used the Paycom system as our resource for managing hours and time. I do believe that the Paycom system had more privacy and safety aspects implemented with their software. However, Greenshades Software is a very user-friendly website that provides all of the resources that are necessary to do the job well!

Workday is much easier and simpler to use. It's very straightforward and easy to train people on.

• Eliminates the need for a GP server to run our payroll internally
• Assists greatly with filing our tax returns on-time and correctly.

• More staff felt comfortable using Workday Payroll and Workforce Management to complete tasks
• Having a mobile app made it possible to submit or approve hours when you're on the go and not at your desk in front of a computer.
• Because of the mobile app, it made it easier for student worker to submit their time when they are at home.
