Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

I am currently a Webex administrator. I implement and configure document writing and training. Webex Meetings has been beneficial to our organization during the pandemic, from full office staffing to 100% remote and now a hybrid environment. It is our solution for meetings, messaging, and calling. I was fully involved in the process of the migration from desk phones to Webex deployment.

Pros

  • One solution for meetings
  • One solution for calling, messaging and meetings
  • Availability of desktop app as well as cell phone apps

Cons

  • Ability to work in low bandwidth without video disruption
  • A wider audio solution for hybrid working
  • Availability for low income families
  • Ability to host meetings at one location and broadcast to multiple locations without having to travel.
  • Have users view meetings from their homes or mobile devices.
  • Whiteboarding in a conference room.

Webex Meetings does not crash or lock up like other applications. Meetings are continued even when connection is poor or disconnected.
Webex, although complicated, was simple to deploy during the pandemic.
I have not noticed any issues with other applications or slowness.
On-demand meetings and the ability to use teams and spaces to transfer documentation. Screen sharing is also important.
