Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

Currently using it as a UC platform, similar to Teams. It doesn't hold the same usage footprint as Teams, so adoption is slow and we're likely moving away from it.

Pros

  • Chat messages
  • Calling
  • Bounce to meetings

Cons

  • Integration with SharePoint
  • Room connectivity (getting better!)
  • Increased integration with all O365 ecosystem
  • No negative impact
  • Bundling with other solutions means as we move away from Cisco in certain spaces, makes sense to move away from Webex App
Teams integration into other MS tools and other partners of MS are a huge advantage.

Setup time is much faster, where traditional "web conferencing" is desired. End user training is much easier.

We are technical users who deploy UC solutions. We don't have internal support.
  • Customer sales meetings
  • Screen share, technical work
  • Project status meetings
  • Transcriptions are incredibly valuable
There's not a really compelling reason to switch. Cisco has kept the lead over the competition.

Using Webex App

Still a bit of confusion with multiple device choices. Also, I really hate explaining the choice to install the app when helping someone join for the first time. This is my meeting time you're taking while a non-technical user is trying to install the app.

Yes - It's fine. Even this survey doesn't work seamlessly on a mobile device. (Can't read the questions on several screens. Left half of the words are blocked.)
