This solution is primarily utilized to create secure backups of our various system-critical Hyper-V virtual machines, ensuring that all essential data, configurations, and system states are preserved. This backup process is crucial for safeguarding against potential data loss, system failures, or any unforeseen disruptions that could impact the functionality and availability of our virtualized infrastructure.

  • Easy to use
  • Integrates well with other vendors

Cons

  • More indepth error reporting
  • Issues that do arrise can be more easily solvable within software.
  • Product has functioned as expected in scenarios where hardware has failed
  • Good peace of mind. Able to implement good backup strategy.
I prefer Veeams compatibility and featureset. I find the interface more intiutive.
