Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

We leverage Veeam Data Platform as our backup data environment solution as well as to protect us from any rasomware attacks and attempts.

Pros

  • Ease of data backup
  • Ease of data recovery
  • Disaster Recovery Solution from a Virtual Machine Standpoint

Cons

  • Direct Data Recovery from Tape Options
  • Creation of backup jobs with more granular calendar scheduling options so that I dont have to build separate jobs because weekly and monthly jobs may happen to fall on the same day of the month
  • easier way to do hybrid on prem and cloud backup solutions - ie direct to cloud backup vs. backup to on prem and then to the cloud.

You can make the backup data production jobs as simple or complex as desired with lots of customizable options.
