Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

We use Veeam Data Platform as backup software to back up our virtual environment both to local storage and to the cloud. This solves issues related to data loss and disaster recovery. It does this seamlessly and verifies backups, so we always know we have trusted backups.

  • Local Backups.
  • Proxy to different networks.
  • Copy local backups to cloud block storage.

Cons

  • Forced to use Windows.
  • Version upgrades have had issues.
  • Allowed for a proper incident response plan.
  • Provides business continuity in case of incident.
