Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

We use Veeam to back up our HyperV hosts, replicate it to another data centre, and off onto tape. We run daily, weekly, and monthly automated backups with reporting and automated ticket creation on our helpdesk platform when tapes need rotating, etc. It fully meets our needs for on-prem backup.

  • Number of configuration options.

Cons

  • Support can sometimes be slow to get back to you.
  • Sometimes what should be simple tasks become very complicated.
  • Veeam allows us to easily recover from any issues our VMs may face.
  • Saving time and resources.
Veeam was cheaper and easier to use than the other options we compared it to.
