Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365
We use VDCM365 to provides our team with automatic data protection and data recovery for our hybrid Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive environment in multiple geolocations. - Convenience
Cons
- GUI might be laid out a little better
- Sometimes needs Veeams support intervention to stop a stuck job
- Can sometimes get tripped up by unusual files
- Positive - invaluable after a ransomware attack
- Positive - cost per user is inexpensive
- Positive - my IT team can focus on other issues instead of managing this product
SyncBackPro required on prem software and extra management, and while it was VERY inexpensive (just $50-$60 I think?), once we saw Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 demonstrated, we just didn't want to even look at other products - it just seemed like the right fix for us. To be honest, it just seems like the right fit for ANYONE that uses M365.
