Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform
We use Veeam Backup and recovery for daily, weekly, and monthly
standard backups as well as for our ransomware / air gap server back
ups. We snapshot servers before updating them in case of corruption or if the update fails. The snapshots have bailed us out of many a tight spot.We use replication for migrating servers from blade to blade and for the fail over and fail back.

Pros
- Snapshots are very helpful
- Server Replication
- Easy file back up and restoration
- ransomware recovery
Cons
- It isn't cheap, but when you are good, you do not have to be.
- Some of the setup was pretty time consuming
- Some features can be slow. Restorations and roll-backs
- Back up and restore on the fly is very helpful makes us more flexible
- Snapshots save us a lot of time as well as anxiety. We use snapshots a lot.
