Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
Veeam Backup & Replication has enhanced our backup windows and has given us the ability to move backups offsite. [It] is complex enough to do our tough jobs, yet easy enough to manage so that any of our team can jump in without extensive training and still be able to manage some of the more common functions like restoring a backup or starting a new backup. The ability for it to handle physical machines as well as virtual under a single pane of glass has been a huge asset to our company.

- Alerting when jobs succeed or fail.
- Speed of backups using proxies on-site and off-site.
- Scale out repositories.
Cons
- IBM I series integration.
- Local option to mount or dismount a USB device for backups for an air gapped backup solution (poor mans immutable solution) for physical and virtual environments.
- It has given us many hours back in our day compared to other backup solutions since it just works.
