Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
We use Veeam Backup & Replication internally to easily manage the backup of our infrastructure. As service providers, we also install and use it to all of our customers, from the small company with one server and few PCs to the big multinational corporation with hundreds of VMs and workstations. Our common goal is the same: feel safe. When I receive the daily report from each backup job and I read "Success", my day starts with a smile.
Pros
- It's easy to define and schedule backup jobs.
- Reports are detailed.
- No matter how many VMs you have or what they do
Cons
- A sort of "smart wizard" for the first backup could help users in the first step.
- I'd like to have a dashboard with only main simple information and graphs.
- Less time spent outside the office checking backup problems
- One single software for all clients, with common configuration and reports to my email
