Veeam Backup & Replication is being used to back up the virtual infrastructure, giving us a chance to quickly perform a restore in case of a fault. The choice is to keep data in an external environment, safer solution, rather than keeping data in the local backup server. The graphic interface is so user friendly that I quickly explain how to manage backups and restores, keeping only the necessary restore points. We don't use it to backup groups of VMs, only one VM at a time. We never had any problems with restores from existing backups.
