Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

My company is a cloud provider. We work on the basis of several Veeam services:
  • Backing up VMs in our cloud-based on customer wishes.
  • Technical backup of the entire virtual infrastructure.
  • Backing up customer capabilities to our cloud.

Pros

  • VM backup
  • NAS backup
  • VM replication

Cons

  • VM snapshots
  • NAS snapshots
  • Windows + MSSQL platform for systems
  • I only deal with the technical side of the issue.
  • Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery
Simplicity, convenience, support, and cost.
Deduplication efficiency is quite low. Tighter integration of NAS backup and storage. Support for opensource hypervisors like KVM, Xen, QEMU, etc. More advanced scheduling scheduler, something in the style of Windows.
