Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

We are using Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition for backing up our small office infrastructure.

Pros

  • Alerting & reports
  • VM recovery
  • User-friendly interface

Cons

  • Would be nice to have it run in a Linux environment, or even better, on a Docker container
  • Community Edition responds very well to a small company's needs and saves it from a big investment for a reliable backup solution.
We previously used Vembu, but we found that Veeam is more user-friendly and way more reliable and fast.
Vembu BDR Suite, NAKIVO Backup & Replication
Best for backing up virtual machines. I haven't tested it for anything else.
