Overall Satisfaction with Unique Learning System

I utilize ULS to support fellow teachers and students when I am in the classroom.

Pros

  • differentiation
  • literacy activities
  • opportunities for independent student work

Cons

  • more robust math options
  • more intuitive/user friendly
  • less up-front work to set-up student accounts
  • reduces plan time by at least 50%
  • supports IEP literacy goals
  • supports student independence
It requires a lot of upfront work to learn the system and set-up student profiles.

Unique Learning System is great for cross-categorical classrooms where there is a wide range of student abilities. It allows for students needing full support to demonstrate understanding as well as independent work for students who are able.
