Overall Satisfaction with TSheets

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use TSheets on a daily basis to track the work of our crew. We are able to track what type of work they are doing each day so that we can look at the numbers at the end of the year and see where we allocated out resources/time. It is user friendly, which allows our workers to clock in and out on their own.

Pros and Cons

Pros

User-Friendly: The app is easy to use and the desktop version is a great center for reviewing submitted time sheets.
Customer Service: today I got help from Jen D, and the other day Brad. Both of them were a huge help. I have not had a disappointing experience with their support staff. I am always impressed by their friendly and reliable customer service staff.
Makes tracking time easier: Time tracking is instant and issues can be corrected before they get out of hand.

Cons

Users must have smart phones.
Managers have to clock those in who do not posses a smart phone.
Why are some weeks locked? Sometimes I want to correct mistakes in time sheets I've already submitted. Once I do, though, I have to ask TSheets support to unlock it for me and that gets annoying.

Return on Investment

At first we were skeptical of its function and how it would make tracking time easier. The more we learned about it, the more we were sold on it.
The overall impact for us is rather low, but we are a small business.
It is nice to have for part-time workers who work off site.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you expect that your employees will have smart phones and working on different sites, then yes. T-Sheets is great for companies who have workers that are otherwise hard to keep track of. If you work in a restaurant, though, and expect to see all of your workers in the same place, then it might be more economical to just have them fill out physical time sheets at the end of the day/week.
