Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

TeamViewer and Tensor provide remote tools that enable support staff to quickly start sessions, elevate permissions, and fix issues. We use this to regularly connect to faculty and staff in order to ease the issues that come with being separated by physical distance. Clearly stating the purpose of the remote session tends to alleviate any concerns with the person with who you are controlling their computer. Works with many different operating systems on and off the corporate networks.

TeamViewer is a great tool with a well-respected name and a foundation of trust with advanced and intermediate users. We used to have BeyondTrust (Bomgar) in our office and it provided equivalent feature sets but had a dated appearance. Performance with both products is exceptional, and we could only ask for TeamViewer to have a mandatory recording feature.

BeyondTrust Remote Support (formerly Bomgar), Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Azure Active Directory
TeamViewer is great at setting up and tracking the inventory of systems with which you control. The blank screen option is nice for when you need to connect to a device after hours and do not want to startle the crew that might be working around the space. Recording every session would be helpful to track inappropriate use of the tool.
