Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
We currently use TeamViewer throughout the organization. It is utilized by our helpdesk to remote access our staff remotely. It is a great application that works silently in the background. It works consistently with no issues. Reliability of the software is very important as this is our only way to remote in.
Pros
- Remote access to staff computers.
- Help with troubleshooting.
- Allows us to maintain physical distancing during COVID restrictions.
Cons
- File transfer could be better.
- Saves on having staff coming to the office and lining up for IT support.
- Convenience for staff to continue to work remotely.
- Allows IT staff to directly connect and see the issue first hand - remotely.
- Symantec pcAnywhere (Discontinued) and Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan)
TeamViewer is a thin client, very reliable and easy to use. The application allows both the end-user and support staff to see what is on the screen at the same time. Security passcode is easy to pass along with very little user training required.
