Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
We use TeamViewer to remotely take control of computers and servers. It is used by our helpdesk and by our support team. It enables us to view the customer's computer and see live what the issue is that the customer is experiencing We can then take control of the computer and fix the issue without physically going to the customer's premises.
Pros
- Remote control.
- Transfer files.
- Secure.
Cons
- Allow voice discussion.
- Drag and drop/copy paste file transfer.
- TeamViewer has saved us lots of traveling costs and traveling hours.
- TeamViewer has helped us to satisfy the customer's need instantaneously.
- Notwithstanding the remote capabilities, the program is very secure.
We've used AnyDesk, Ammyy Admin and others. We actually often still use AnyDesk as an option besides TeamViewer. Personally, I like both. I like AnyDesk more when the customer uses a dual screen, and I like TeamViewer more in a case where the customer doesn't have elevated rights on his machine. All in all the 2 are definitely comparable, though AnyDesk makes it much easier to use their free version.
