TeamViewer's security is our greatest ally
Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer is used by our organization to support customers in their publishing journey. We employ it in all departments because it is easy-to use and functional. It is particularly helpful to our business because it addresses the issue of show-not-tell. In other words, TeamViewer allows us to remote access and remote control a client's computer, thereby allowing us to maintain software, install updates and troubleshoot problems. We were early adopters of TeamViewer since it was first released in 2005, and we have enjoyed its expanding functionality ever since. While there are competitive products now on the market, we like TeamViewer for all these reasons, especially that it does not require registration and is free of charge for non-commercial use.
Pros
- Remote access to any device.
- Fast, high performance connections.
- Connects from anywhere, anytime.
Cons
- Initially, can be difficult to use.
- It can be too powerful for most use cases.
- The rate of change in technology can overwhelm.
- We couldn't have grown without TeamViewer.
- Our clients trust in us is built on our trust in TeamViewer.
- TeamViewer has paid for itself over and over many times.
We used LogMeIn years ago and found their progress in keeping pace with technology was not as good as with TeamViewer. We used both products for a while so we could ascertain which was best, and TeamViewer came out a clear winner. Security was also a big consideration of ours and the feedback we received from our clients clearly showed they felt more secure with our connection from TeamViewer than with any other product.
