Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

Use it to remotely connect with clients to solve IT related issues. Use it to do Windows updates monthly by remote. Remotely maintain customer servers.

Pros

  • Hold a great connection while working.
  • Great flexibility, offering black screen options.
  • Great support with the SOS feature if the connection gets corrupted on client computers.

Cons

  • Has a major issue staying with the computer during the reboot cycle.
  • While adding too, many connections have a tendency to shut down (doing Win updates).
  • Intermittent lock up and shut down of desktop module.
  • Very Positive, easy sell at $7.00 a user.
  • It allows me to do my job, and clients have no problem paying for the service.
  • Add AntiVirus at a very reasonable price and adds to ROI.
Never had any real issues where I needed to contact support. I did report the issue with intermittent shutdowns and they indicated a known issue they are working on.

It is a great product, easy to use, and the pricing is great and flexible as well. It works very well for small business needs and my Consulting service. Love that I can add on a commercial grade AntiVirus at a very reasonable cost to my clients.
