ScienceLogic SL1 is being used as the enterprise monitoring, reporting, and alerting tool for several of our customers. It is integrated with Service Now for incident and CMDB synchronization to quickly automate scheduled outages, full systems life cycle including commissioning and decommissioning automation, and helpdesk integration. It is also used to monitor Cloud resources, and tie back into the billing system via its API capabilities.

Yes - HP OpenView and Nagios were decommissioned with the implementation of SL1
- We can see how events /outages are related.
- We have built custom widgets to show GIS maps for Wan utilization.
ScienceLogic SL1 was the only option for WYSIWYG dashboards when we selected them in 2009 and noticeably cheaper. Other vendors are now catching up and ScienceLogic is starting to price themselves out of their market segment.
