Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic
ScienceLogic is used by our IT Operations department. We use it to monitor our network and our system health. We also help clients use the product by providing dashboard visualizations to give them a birds-eye view of their system services and overall health.
Pros
- Monitoring individual devices.
- Creating notifications based on specific criteria.
- Provides a great view of the environment, helping with discovery.
Cons
- The interface could use some modernization.
- Some items in the UI are hidden deep within menus or windows.
- It has saved us money by providing us insight into issues before they become a problem.
- We have had to dedicate resources for long periods of time to assist with troubleshooting.
Not Sure
- The ability to view multi-cloud solutions in a single dashboard.
- Creating runbook actions to notify our staff or restart services automatically when certain criteria are met.
