Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite

It streamlines various internal and external applications integration for us. There are a couple of functions which are supported by its readymade connectors and APIs

Pros

  • Integration between in house and external applications
  • Ability to use readymade connectors
  • Provides great DevOps capabilities and support

Cons

  • AI could be embraced more and simplified usage while building apps
  • Embracing newer and global development suite rather than over reliance on its niche development language skillls
  • 3rd Party apps integration can be improvised
  • It has made integration between unrelated apps easier
  • Ability to use ready made connectors is one of the best in the marketplace
  • Im sure it has saved a lot of pain/funds in maintaining hundreds of applications had they been working in isolation

It offers great platform which supports Autonomous Digital Enterprise vision of Digital firms. However, challenges with 3rd party applications integration and over dependency on niche development skills are a drawback.
