Overall Satisfaction with SAP Concur

We at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (a non-profit institution and consortium of over 120 colleges and universities focused on research in Earth system science, tasked with managing the national lab, the National Center for Atmospheric Research) utilize SAP Concur for travel request, travel booking, expense management (including P-Cards and T-Cards - purchasing and travel), and reporting. We went to SAP Concur from a paper travel request and reimbursement process and have been very happy.

I was not involved in the request for proposals (RFP) where competitors were evaluated, so I'm not familiar with the details as to why SAP Concur was selected over Coupa and other competitors involved in that evaluation.

SAP Concur is great for travel and expense management. Administration of the tool can be difficult and complex, likely due to the disjointed nature of the modules (I believe Concur and SAP have acquired companies and integrated them into SAP Concur, rather than making them a more cohesive package from the start). However, from the user's perspective, the system is very easy to use. We haven't utilized SAP Concur Invoice, so we don't have any experience with that.
