Overall Satisfaction with SAP Cloud Platform

We are using SAP Integration Suite for Integrated Business Planning. This allows us to forecast the products upfront. Currently, we are following a phased approach to deploying this at all sites. Hence it is not being used by all the departments. This allows us to plan ahead for the products that are being sold.

Pros

  • It allows us to better forecast/plan well for the future.

Cons

  • Automatic upgrades - Upgrading the system without initiating the upgrade.
  • SAP is providing a solution for e-invoicing which is connected through the cloud enables users to verify the documents.
  • SAP is also providing country based tax solutions which are providing support for business to be compliant with the tax authorities.
SAP Integration Suite is enabling us to integrate multiple systems with a single point of entry which can be connected to the corporate directory along with the on-premise systems. If there is a lot of customization in your existing system, it's not recommended as SAP has enforced the industry best practices in cloud.
