Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We use SAP Analytics Cloud for our five-year strategic plan.

SAP Analytics Cloud does the higher level strategic planning very well. However, there is much room for improvement to plan at a more detailed level with comments surrounding the detailed line items. Also, the reporting capabilities are very inflexible. We usually export the results to Analysis for Office to do easier reporting.
  • Product Features
We wanted to use SAP Analytics Cloud instead of Excel for our Strategic Planning process. This allows for more governance and standardization.

SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation)
We used driver-based planning to plan for our premium taxes based on our Earned Premiums and tax rates. This solution has greatly reduced the manual planning/entry time during our critical planning timeline. SAP Analytics Cloud streamlined the strategic planning process and brought standardization to the inputs and trending methodology.
