Procore is Pretty Awesome
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Procore is currently being used across our entire organization. We use Procore to manage all of our active construction projects. This allows us to manage RFIs, commitments, inspections, drawings, specifications, logs, meetings, contracts with the owner, etc. The Harper Corporation functions in two divisions (currently). One of those divisions is commercial that works on building and remodeling building structures and the other division is environmental systems, which consists of the building and rehabilitation of water and waste water treatment plants.
Pros
- One place to access all of the project specific information
- Main landing area for contractor, owner, design team, supplier's and subcontractors to access all of the information needed on the project.
- Document organization
- Customer service - Procore representatives are very fast and easy to work with
Cons
- Every company uses Procore a little differently, however, one thing our company would enjoy to get rid of is the unnecessary steps needed to write a change order towards a specific commitment.
- Meeting Minutes could definitely use some work to help with more ease of use.
- Procore Sync is a work in progress but as of right now, it is very glitchy and has caused multiple issues internally for us.
- I believe Procore allows us, as a company, to be more efficient.
- Project Management
Procore is very up to date and has a lot of user-friendly features. Project Management was very outdated and nothing quite worked correctly.
