Overall Satisfaction with Procore

The software is centered around general construction and has the tools for it. As for retro-fit work, I feel it could have some better tools. Mostly, concurrent drawing review tracking. Currently only allows one "ball in court" reviewer, which can be a slow process if drawings require multiple reviewers. The document controls aspect is good and the ability to access the files from any computer/phone is a great benefit.

Pros

  • Document Control
  • Daily Reporting

Cons

  • Drawing Review
  • Unknown at the moment
  • Newforma
Procore was selected by others within the company as a new way to accurately track and manage the construction process. I feel that Procore has some great features but lacks certain features that others either offer or may offer. Procore does have a good outlook on upcoming updates and features, so more is to come.
As stated prior, the ability to have concurrent reviews is big. In most construction projects review times on drawings is limited and having the ability to accurately track who is reviewing, how long they have been reviewing, and what they are reviewing is an important tool that should not be limited to one individual reviewer at a time.
