Procore is as useful as the day is long
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
The entire organization uses Procore for all the project management processes. This includes trade subcontracts, change orders, reporting, document control, and more. It's great to have one place to look for all this information, instead of relying on other methods.
Pros
- Document control is outstanding.
- Reporting on budget and spending is easy to do.
- Having one place to go for all your project specific information is invaluable.
Cons
- When adding a budget one line at a time, it would be nice if there was a way to default certain settings.
- It would be great if they developed an estimating module. Then, I wouldn't have to use Excel for that part of things.
- It would be awesome if I could use Procore for my trade invites, but it requires too much trade buy-in. Not all my trades are as computer-savvy as Procore requires.
- I don't have that information, but I know that it's very helpful to have one place to look for documents, and have it available anywhere I am, on the cloud.
- dexter + chaney and Edgebuilder
Procore is a very useful tool compared to both Spectrum by Dexter + Chaney, and Edgebuilder. Being the latest, most up-to-date software that I have used means that it is, by definition the greatest. But it has most of the features I need to manage a project.
