Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

We use Paycor for payroll and benefits admin. We have employees in other states it’s too hard to keep track of. Paycor solves that problem by paying the other states taxes for us. We use it daily.we also use Paycor for handling W2s for our employees. It was too much work to print and mail in-house z

Pros

  • Easy to adjust settings
  • Phone app is easy to use
  • Custom reports has been very helpful for reports.

Cons

  • Report builder lacks data or templates for payroll.
  • Allow 2 people to work during payroll instead of just one .
  • There are no good templates for employees leave hours.
  • Printing and mailing W2s took a full week or more . Now we have that free time back
  • Benefits admin used to take months for setting up enrollment . Now a couple weeks.
  • Running a splint payroll will help us for our fiscal year processes.
We’ve only been using Paycor for months but employees and work students love the phone app . Employees like having access to see their leave and sick time . It’s basically since it calculates the future dates so you know how much time you can use. The paycheck display is better than what we previously used.
You have way better control when running payroll. Also way easier to adjust individual employees paycheck. Peoplesoft benefits was difficult so we didn’t use it to enroll employees into health insurance . We used excel spreadsheets to calculate.

Paycor is well suited for updating employees information. Paycors use of import templates are great for updating a group of employees . The report builder isn’t as easy to use as the custom reports . Report builder need a major overhaul . Benefits admin is starlight forward and easy to use and set up. Paycors engage function is good for making shoutouts.
