Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

We used Dyn to outsource our DNS infrastructure so we could focus on development.

Pros

  • Delegated management
  • Reliability
  • Safeguards against accidental record input

Cons

  • Interface is or was cramped on mobile.
  • Mostly just peace of mind. I don’t have to fret about Oracle DNS.
Route53 was too heavy for GC and we had no other AWS products to integrate with it.
Never had a problem
DNS is never easy, even for professionals. You do your best.
[Oracle Dyn Managed DNS is well suited] In scenarios where a small company has a DNS need.
