Overall Satisfaction with Okta
My organization uses Okta as our identity provider. We use it for all of our SAML and SSO connections. We also use it for multi factor authentication. This helps us address the issue we had when citrix cloud did not have a native integration with Azure AD or Entra ID now.

- Okta has had some notable breaches or incidents in the last few years.
- The upgrade the the 2.0 engine broke our work flow and was hard to move back.
- With Entra ID catching up its difficult to have a business case to stay with Okta.
- The account provisioning is great from a time saver for applications that have an API or are in the marketplace for Okta.
- Okta deprovisioning has increased our security posture with a 1 click disable and removes access to all resources.
- Allowing for specific MFA settings for each user has been great for the range of staff at our firm.
At the time when we moved from ADFS to Okta, Okta was the superior product for are use case. There was no ADFS/SAML connection available for for Citrix Cloud. Now, Entra ID has progressed and is supported by almost every application, we might be moving back to Entra ID.
