Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

we are a manufacturer. using MRP and CRM.

Pros

  • access to overall business data in one system
  • customizable

Cons

  • not intuitive
  • you need a secret decoder ring to get to the correct data
  • hard to support on your own. NetSuite channel structure pushes you to have to use thier partners
  • slow to address issues like "Cant enter lead time >365 days"
  • does not tell you what components you dont have early enough to take action
  • it drives us to align processes
Salesforce is easier to use for sales people. NetSuite is hard to use but includes direct access to accout transaction details

Do you think NetSuite ERP delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with NetSuite ERP's feature set?

Yes

Did NetSuite ERP live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of NetSuite ERP go as expected?

No

Would you buy NetSuite ERP again?

No

we spend too much time in trial and error to get the results we need. Requires in house experts to make it successful. does not automate anything unless you pay for the resources to develop/configure
hard to get to right person to help. bugs found(like cant enter >365 day lead time) are called feature enhancements and rarely fixed
MRP demand planning works pretty good but setup was super difficult and required way to much trial and errot to get it correct
