Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday.com to process and track all orders placed with our company, from start to finish. Handy integrations and automations help streamline the process, and the cloud-based system means I can access our daily progress from anywhere. We also use it for our inventory tracking. It's a highly-customizable interface that works very well once adjusted to your needs, and can constantly be evolved along with your business.

Pros

  • Progress tracking
  • Record keeping of inventory, including when and where changes were made, and by who
  • Allowing for customization to suit your business needs

Cons

  • Server drop-outs are rare, but are definitely a problem when they happen, being a completely cloud-based system
  • The app is handy, but definitely lacks in terms of functionality, and ability to customise
  • Tech support is the standard "answer these questions, even though you have already given me that detail". Good once you get past that stage though.
  • Changing to online record keeping is great for easily finding details about past orders
  • Plans are expensive, so you really need a large team, or a lot of data to track for the expense to be worth it
  • Has definitely allowed for our business to provide better service and and after-care for our customers
Once the system is set up and customised to your needs, the interface all makes sense, as you are the one who built it! Just need to have a bit of computer literacy about you to get things set up. Also be prepared to do a lot of testing out different functions to see if they will be of any benefit.
Support is always followed right through to the end. The support person can change with every interaction within a single case, but this doesn't impact the quality of support. Response time is normally within an hour or so.
Performs exactly as described. Down-time is minimal, and server status can be checked out on their website, which is really handy when trying to trouble-shoot problems.

Excellent if you need live tracking with project management. Allows you to completely trace any changes to who did it and when. Not applicable to us, but would work very well for a team that is split across multiple locations. The much more basic functionality of the app means it's not something to can properly use on the go. The web-based system is far better.
