Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
- Consolidating projects and communications all within one place (per project) has saved tremendous amount of time, and cut down on a lot of redundant busy work, emails, etc.
- Having the ability to log and archive projects so they are quickly and easily retrievable has saved hours and prevented work from being done more than once.
- Building a project request form/board makes it easy to work clients and get the info needed to complete the project without back and forth emails asking for clarification.
- The only negative I can think of is the challenge of getting people to agree on how a board should be used. The flexibility is a double-edged sword.
We use monday.com to outline, manage and track various advertising projects across our advertising department. It allows us to stay on top of photography, imaging and design projects, and consolidate the info and communications. We can keep track of who worked on the projects, status updates, timelines, and much more. Monday also allows us to record productivity metrics and output monthly reports.
Pros
- provides an easy to understand visual interface.

- has a robust search function making it easy to find and filter results.
- allows for a completely customizable workspace to fit any kind of project needs.
- has excellent customer support with fast response times.
Cons
- I'd like to see better integration of the sub-items.
- I'd like to see more learning resources for the formulas column.
- there are occasions where the browser needs to be refreshed in order to see the most up-to-date info.
Overall performance is usually very good. There are, however, times where automations stop working for a period of time, and have to be deleted and rewritten. Sometimes updates don't happen in real time and the browser needs to be refreshed. And occasionally, an upload fails or the board takes longer than usual to redraw images or uploaded excel or pdf documents.
