Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for collaboration and problem-solving as a group. We map our quarterly marketing targets and plans in Miro. We also use it as a central document for the team to refer back to. We also use it for brainstorming purposes. We plan and document processes for marketing and content creation.

Pros

  • Great digital whiteboard tool for visual problem solving
  • Great for collaboration - can see comments and activity of other users
  • Lots of options for diagramming makes it flexible and versatile

Cons

  • The way boards are filed can get confusing. The different teams/folders/etc it becomes very difficult for me to find boards sometimes
  • I struggle with the font sizes sometimes. Depending on how much I have zoomed the font will look too big or too small and that makes it difficult to get the font to be the right size
  • It would be nice to have more variety for the colours you can choose
  • Miro has definitely improved productivity - it helps us plan projects
  • Improved collaboration - it's a lot easier to get everyone on the same page
  • Improved problem-solving - it helps us unblock issues faster when we use visualizations to understand problems
It's been amazing. We are a fully remote company working across multiple timezones. To be able to get together on Miro to map out our plans, ideas and problems is a lifesaver. With Miro, everyone can understand each other's thinking and approaches better. We also use it for documentation so everyone is on the same page about how processes work
Miro is more user-friendly that Whimsical. I find it easier to create charts and diagrams and move things around. Everything feels smoother and easier to do

Miro is fantastic for visual problem solving and brainstorming for anything. You can put all your thoughts down on the white board, make connections, categorize things, draw links between things. It really helps you think through the issue so you get a better understanding of what the problem is. You can also very easily explain your thinking to others and present solutions more easily because you've can create easy diagrams
