Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I primarily use Miro for product discovery. Whenever we are brainstorming any new idea/probme statement, it helps me in visualising with the flow how the current build looks like and then collaborate with the team on exploring around the solution space.

I have also used its template for team retro meetings and found it quite helpful.

Pros

  • Collaborative Editing - Pretty smooth collaboration with the team
  • Diagramming and Visualization Tools - Quite helpful in visualising the topic and get better understanding
  • Integrations with Other Tools - Primarily outlook, if there is any new comment, I get to know about that in my mail inbox

Cons

  • User Interface Complexity - It was quite a learning curve for me. Even today I don't know many capabilities and discover it over the time as I use it more often. Porbably by making it more intuitive or evident the user can know about the capabilities.
  • Template and Customization Limitations - Finding a template and how easily I can customize them. I was recently looking template for pre-morterm. Could find soem options but wasn't satisfied and hard to customize based on my need.
  • Automation Gaps - There is scope in automating some of the user tasks which are repitiitve/time taking
  • Improved Productivity and Efficiency - I no longer need to use multiple tools for discovery which also includes the high fidelity wireframing
  • Enhanced Collaboration and Employee Satisfaction - Collaboration is quite smooth
Miro is go to tool for any new project brainstorming and collaboration.
