Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are a remote team, so we use it for workshopping with cross-functional teams. My engineering team enjoys using boards for system architecture mapping. I am a very visual person. I prefer to put my thoughts in Miro before building out slide decks. Most business problems we focus on solving in Miro are tied to the user experience or funnel metrics.

Pros

  • Brainstorming for features.
  • System architecture.
  • Retros

Cons

  • Formatting tools to make boards look more buttoned up (i.e., rulers for straight lines, snap to corner).
  • Improved productivity.
I still have to walk cross-functional team members through 'how to' if they have not used the product in a while.
Truly helps with aligning on product discovery and collecting feedback from user research.

Remote work brainstorming for cross-functional product teams. I tried to manage a visual roadmap in Miro, but it did not look polished enough to share with the C-suite or leaders. I have also found that having multiple boards at the same ratio is problematic. I have some small boards and others that take up the whole screen.
