Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro helps us a ton. Whiteboarding, ice breaker team sessions, research analysis and synthesis, brainstorming, road mapping, and diagramming, to name a few.

Pros

  • Extreme customization - anything you think you might be able to do in Miro, you probably can do it.
  • Use case coverage - Miro can do many things for you.
  • Delightful to use - it's a joy when I'm in a remote meeting involving a Miro because of how interactive and practical it replicates an in-person whiteboarding session.

Cons

  • Because there is so much functionality, it's easy to miss best practices and new features.
  • Excited to see what they are trying to do with AI, but a lot of it is very basic and/or unusable currently.
  • It is hard to put a number on innovation and teamwork enablement, but Miro fosters spaces that would not exist without it.
It's very self-serve—little implementation is required.
It's pretty easy, though there are some IT hoops depending on the size of your organization.
It allows us to quickly dive into shared analysis and brainstorm spaces to speed up initial project kickoffs and phases where heavy group thinking and brainstorming are needed.
Miro has way more functionality, while FigJam is a tool our team commonly uses. FigJam sharing seems a bit more onerous than Miro's.

It is the same as the use cases I described previously, especially when it comes to a need for remote collaboration, whiteboarding, group synthesis, and diagramming.
