Overall Satisfaction with Miro

In our organization, we use Miro for product development. This includes, but is not limited to, the organization of ideas that are then translated into a backlog, tracking the status of projects across the different development teams, and even using it as a scratch pad to create rudimentary visuals that become official designs.

Pros

  • Template options & functionality
  • Modifying content intuitively
  • Sharing capabilities

Cons

  • Icon/shape options
  • Board update email notifications
  • Improved accountability
This has made the work from home experience feel like working from the office in some instances. It allows stakeholders to literally and figuratively align on the same vision. We additionally meet weekly to discuss our project's progress states and helps us stay interactively engaged with each other by taking notes and updating information on a kanban board.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

To me, Miro is especially great for the visual learner/person who has a ton of thoughts in their head that they need to organize. I'd recommend Miro first and foremost to people who need to get their ideas "on paper". Secondly, I'd recommend it for ease of tracking to-do lists that have multiple levels. Lastly, I'd recommend it to the user who needs to visualize and capture every aspect of a work flow. Miro makes it incredibly easy and intuitive for me to capture the above, and would recommend it to colleagues or friends in order to do the same.
